"Niko Likhi" is a sumi rendition of the classic Ao Song " O Kidang Monger" originally written and composed by Sir Watitemjen, IAS and sung by Alemtemshi and Naro. Between 70's & 80's, as narrated by Mrs Vitoli, mother of the lady singer in the video, kidang monger was also sung and widely known among the Sumi's in sumi dialect. Upon hearing the story, we thought it'd be fun to bring back the sumi version of the song. While the meaning of the song differs from the original, we do not take any credit for the song. We've done this purely for the love of music and for the love we have for this song. All due credit to the original composer. Since the narrator could not recall the entire lyrics of the song, some parts, such as the Title of the song "Niko Likhi", of the lyrics have been contributed by my dear friend, Tunavi Swu.
