Panelists emphasized the gravity of illegal immigration from Bangladesh into India's northeastern states, citing a past Supreme Court observation likening the scale of infiltration to external aggression. Rami Desai and Smita Mishra highlighted that the demographic, cultural, and security implications—particularly in Assam—have long been ignored. The region's porous forested borders make infiltration hard to control, and over the decades, illegal immigrants have blended into the broader population using forged documents. The recent MHA-led nationwide verification and deportation drive is seen as a much-needed but long-overdue step. Panelists stressed that while the initiative is welcome, more comprehensive, all-India measures are necessary, especially given links to terror groups like Ansarullah Bangla Team, whose operatives were swiftly apprehended in Assam following political changes in Bangladesh

All things look easy
Just arrived in Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh—and I’ve already made my first friend: a fluffy little puppy who clearly runs the joint. I ordered breakfast, parked myself by the heater because there is a serious chill in the air.
Pine trees everywhere, that crisp mountain air, and the kind of calm that makes you want to stay a while.
Oh and I think Ziro might just be the car wash capital of India. I’ve counted at least five and I’ve only been here 20 minutes. I’m getting the hint, time for a carwash.

DC Vivek H.P. Assures Action on ST Bachao Andolan Demands, Plans Market Restructuring in Hapoli
During a media interaction, Deputy Commissioner of Lower Subansiri, Vivek H.P., confirmed that the District Administration has accepted the key demands raised by the Arunachal ST Bachao Andolan Committee, Lower Subansiri Unit, leading to the peaceful conclusion of the hunger strike. He appreciated the committee’s approach and reiterated the administration’s commitment to protecting the rights and welfare of the Scheduled Tribe communities. Addressing further questions from the media, the DC acknowledged the growing concerns regarding overcrowding in the Hapoli market area, including issues related to unregulated parking and the presence of shops on footpaths. He stated that the administration is actively planning to address these challenges through a comprehensive restructuring and modification of the market zone to ensure better traffic management, pedestrian safety, and an organized commercial space.
In 2017, I envisioned a song that has now come to life as part of my ongoing worship project. The song, titled "No Turning Back," is the second release from this project and carries a heartfelt message intended to resonate with the church community and beyond.
Inspired by the traditional worship song "I Have Decided," "No Turning Back" is a straightforward composition designed to encourage and support individuals in their commitment to Christ. It is my sincere hope that this song will touch many hearts and provide spiritual encouragement.

LYRICS
He said “take my yoke and follow me”
For I am gentle and humble in heart
And you will find rest for your souls in me
My yoke is easy, my burden is light
Though none go with me still I will follow
The world behind me & the cross before me
I have decided and I am not turning back
I will follow, I will follow
I have decided to follow Jesus
No turning back
Though none go with me still I will follow
The world behind me & the cross before me
I have decided and I am not turning back
I will follow, I will follow
You gave your life and took my place on that cross
Though the world forsake me
you re always there
You are the only one i can lean on
Jesus you re always there for me

Today, we honor the courage, integrity, and dedication of journalists who work tirelessly to inform the public, expose injustice, and uphold the truth. The press is not just a source of news — it is a pillar of democracy, a guardian of accountability, and a voice for the voiceless.
In Arunachal Pradesh, especially in places like Ziro, the media plays a powerful role despite many challenges. Local journalists step forward where others cannot, reporting from remote areas and ensuring that every voice, no matter how small, is heard.
As we mark this day, let us remember that a free press is not a privilege — it is a necessity. When we protect press freedom, we protect our rights, our democracy, and our future.

An Apatani proverb that speaks about being careful with our career, so that we do not end up being called careless in the society.
